Pas de Deux by Scott Cox is a delightful American romantic comedy that deals with themes of aging, art, and finding the important things in life. It is the story of Adrianna, a former dancer in the original production of Oklahoma!, now confined to the shackles of a nursing home and a declining physical body. But in her mind, she dreams of a time that we may never see again: a time before the television empire, before social media, and before the bombs dropped. Throughout the play, she is visited by her son, daughter-in-law, care nurse, and an aging vaudevillian known as the Candy Man. A Love Letter to the Golden Age of Entertainment, Pas De Deux is a moving story that reminds us of the good old days of the past, and the good old days yet to come.
