A celebration honoring Helen Blanchard, the brilliant mind behind the zig-zag and buttonhole stitch.

All are invited to learn more about Helen Blanchard and her contributions to textile arts. A drawing for a FREE sewing machine, generously donated by Charles McFall, will occur at 3 pm. Cookies and punch will be served. A program of the Quilt Capital of Kansas and its partners, Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center.
