 Exciting News!

After a regional search, we are thrilled to welcome Lisa LaFountain as the new Library Director for the Baldwin City Public Library.  She will be leading our mission to inspire, educate, and empower our community through the magic of books and knowledge.

Mark your calendars: Join us on Wednesday August 23rd between 3pm and 5pm! Drop in anytime between 3pm and 5pm for a warm welcome event.  Please come into the library, grab some refreshments, say hello to Lisa and hear about her vision, and share your own ideas for the future of our library. Together, we'll build a stronger, more vibrant literary haven!

A little about Lisa: She brings her 16 years of experience working with Baldwin City Public Library and with the Baldwin City Community.   Her dedication to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment aligns perfectly with our values, ensuring that everyone feels at home within our stacks.
