Diana is a founding member and the 2026-28 president of
First Ladies Association for Research and Education (FLARE), an association dedicated to preserving the legacies of U.S. first Ladies.
She is touring with her co-writers to presidential libraries and sites, and is appearing on discussion panels and at venues around the U.S.
She lives in Lawrence with her husband, retired Judge Joe Pierron.
