SMALL TOWN, BIG MARKET

The Town Galleria, located in downtown Baldwin City, has been open for 16 years. The business is owned and operated by Mike Langrehr designer/artist.  Mike opened the business to participate in the Baldwin City’s creative atmosphere and is committed to keep the store artsy and fun. Outside of hand-crafted jewelry, Mike has created a clientele for business signage and detail painting for residential and commercial customers statewide. Hence,  the word big “Market” was chosen for the picture. Mike states, Our business success is from being centrally location between other towns and cities. He has created signs and murals for: restaurants, hair salons, bars, government buildings, auto repair shops, contractors and countless other small and commercial businesses throughout Kansas.

The Town Galleria also has a team of artists, comprised of family and friends, that provide additional creative services to sell their own art, independently. The Town Galleria has a great artist team including (not pictured) Tanya White, sign painter. Lacey Langrehr, graphic design and decor. Pictured:

  • Mike Langrehr, design specialties
  • Francelle Huffman, original art and portraits
  • Guillermo Langrehr, sign designer and graphics
  • Gerard Arantowicz, character artist
  • Cassie Stephenson, handmade home decor
  • Becky Fender, hand crochet, soaps and gifts

Customers can witness the wide range of services available while walking through The Town Galleria. There is a full display of hand made jewelry, along with hand-crafted home decor, original paintings and gift shop items. In addition, you’ll find special areas for sample signs, custom license tags, faux painting ideas for kitchen cabinets and furniture. A custom jewelry design and repair shop is another gem in The Town Galleria. Finally, on your way out, enjoy a freshly made latte, mocha and treat yourself with a pastry from Daylight Donuts.
