About Beth Llewellyn
Director of Community Health, LDCHD
Over 35 years as a leader in a variety of health care organizations as part of senior administration in medical centers, a regional system, primary care clinic and specialty hospital CEO, and as a consultant in a national association. Extensive experience mergers, leadership development, strategic planning, process design and facilitation to support decision-making and effective communication.
Has a graduate degree from SLU in Health Care Administration and one from Emory in Theological Studies.
She participated in collegiate sports at the University of Kansas, track and field hockey and continues to love participation in running, tennis, biking, skiing, and hiking.
She has served on many collations and NFP organization boards over the years and home in Lawrence is on the Board of K-Club and serves as a trustee at LMH Health.
About Sonia Jordan
Director of Informatics, LDCHD
Sonia Jordan serves as the Director of Informatics for the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department. With over 10 years of experience in the field of public health, she is passionate about using data and analytics to make a difference in the lives of Douglas County residents. She has experience working in the fields of public health informatics, health equity, infectious disease, and public health preparedness. She has committed to a career in public service with experience at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response with Health and Human Services. Currently, she serves on the health department’s Leadership Team and the Health Equity Team. She is a trained Kansas Leadership Center teacher and a member of the Leadership Lawrence Class of 2019. Sonia lives in Lawrence, KS with her husband James, and two boys, Leo and George.
About Erica Hill
LMH Health Foundation Finance and Operations Manager & LMH Health Equity Champion
Erica Hill is the Finance and Operations Manager for the LMH Health Foundation. She graduated from the University of Kansas with an undergraduate degree in Human Biology and earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership from Friends University. Erica joined LMH in October 2013.
As the Finance and Operations Manager for the Foundation, she manages the finances, implements strategic directions related to operations and finance, and leads key initiatives to streamline operations, track strategic plan objectives and analyze donor trends and projections. Erica is engaged not only through her position within the Foundation, but throughout the broader, strategic work of the entire organization. Erica help develop LMH’s inclusion, diversity and equity strategic plan, which will help ensure the organization is positioned to improve the patient experience by building actions and setting goals for the following principles: recruitment and engagement, education, patient experience, community partnerships, and health equity. She is the tactical leader for the community partnerships and health equity principles, working to ensure a thorough action plan is developed and implemented.
Hill is also engaged in her community and serves as the president of the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and volunteers for numerous committees and advisory councils.
