Any individual or group of law enforcement officers, firefighter, medical professionals or local citizen(s) who went beyond his or her job responsibilities under extraordinary circumstances. 

  • Exceptional act of courage
  • Demonstrating outstanding virtue or leadership
  • Inspiring greatness in the Baldwin City community
Outstanding Young Professional

This award recognizes an individual under the age of 40 for leadership, business achievement and commitment to the community.

Outstanding City Employee Award

This award recognizes city employees, at all levels, for exemplary performance and contributions that are above and beyond job requirements. 

  • Leadership and commitment to Baldwin City and its residents 
  • Outstanding customer service 
  • Developed an innovative/creative solution to a problem
  • Superior contribution to the success of a project 
  • Donated significant time to activities that benefit the Baldwin City community 
  • Consistently contributes to better city operation
Excellence in Education—Baker University and USD 348/Early Childhood

Administration, faculty or student that has shown outstanding performance in the area of education.

How do the nominations get awarded?

After all nominations have been received, the Chamber Board of Directors will vote on nominees.
