A Message from Phillip Hannon, 2018 Chamber Board President

Dear Baldwin City Chamber Members,

The City of Baldwin City’s Finance Committee is discussing a 10 percent funding cut to the Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce in its FY19 budget. This cut would negatively impact the work the Chamber does for the business and nonprofit community of Baldwin City.

We strongly urge our members to support the Chamber in the following areas:

  1. Write a letter of support. Please address the letter to Mr. Philip Hannon, President, Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce and email to phil.hannon@bakeru.edu.
  2. Attend and provide public comment at the City’s Budget Work Session on Tuesday, July 10, 6:00 pm, Baldwin City Library.
  3. Attend and provide public comment at the July 17 City Council meeting, 7:00 pm, Baldwin City Library.

The Baldwin City Chamber is Baldwin City’s business advocate and community champion, and we want to continue to do the best work possible. Please contact me, or any Chamber board member, if you have questions.  For Board email contact information and the work of the Chamber, click here. I will also be sharing information at the Wednesday, July 11 Chamber Luncheon and encourage your attendance.

Sincerely,

Phillip Hannon
PROUD Chamber Board President
