Presentation: Cybersecurity for Small Businesses: What You Need to Know

Presenter: Brian Dennis, Director, Cybersecurity Center for Small Business, KS Small Business Development Center (KSSBDC) and KU School of Business.

The awareness of small business’ lack of planning on both the physical and cyber sides of security is growing among business owners. Brian’s work within the KSBDC network includes the creation of a center specifically tasked with increasing small businesses ability to respond to cyber and physical threats. In this engaging presentation, Brian will provide the nuts and bolts of cybersecurity, challenges for small businesses and resources to assist small businesses to prepare for any type of financial storm.

In addition to Brian’s presentation, the entire KSSBDC staff will be present to meet Chamber members including Will Katz, Kristina Mease, and Taylor LaRue.
