Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce our 3rd Member Spotlight for the month of April: Baldwin City Radio.
Without further ado, here is their story, in the words of founder Jay Wachs:
Baldwin City Radio was created in April 2017 for the purposes of providing entertainment and information for the citizens of Baldwin City through an app and website based internet radio platform.
In addition to playing rock, pop and country music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, we offer weather, sports and community news covering the chamber, USD 348 and Baker University as well as city and county events. We also offer Baldwin City businesses low-cost PR, advertising and marketing services and donate air time to non-profit charities for free or reduced cost.
When it is good in the community, so is it good with you and me. Our mission is to inform, entertain and assist the citizens of Baldwin City.
Honoring our word and keeping our commitment to Baldwin City. Our relationship with city and county government, the chamber and the schools have allowed us to become well-known in the community in a very short time.
Future of BCR
We plan to cover more community events, sports and begin a series of citizen profiles. We will also be partnering with Kaw Valley Senior Monthly to offer some print stories both in their newspaper and on our website.
Baldwin City Love
We love the warmth and compassion of the people. Everyone feels like family. We are proud to be heard in downtown every Friday.
