2018 Chamber Planner

You’ve heard all the new year chatter. You know: New year, new you! Fresh start. New beginnings. Resolutions, goals, dreams. New planner and calendar.

The new year is a clean slate, and it’s easy to fill it up to the brim with hopes and ideas. I’m not going to be the one to discourage you. After all, this is what the Chamber is here for: To listen to the heart of your business ideas and community-centered initiatives and do our dead-level best to help you accomplish your goals.

But since we’re in the season of planning and dreaming, will you plan and dream with us a little bit?

The Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce exists to support YOU. We’re here to make Baldwin City the best we know how, and we can’t do it without you.

Join us through Chamber membership, and plan to attend our regular monthly luncheons and any of our other outstanding events that would be helpful for you.

Just a few things coming up in 2018 that make us want to hurry and switch the calendar:

Social Media Marketing Workshop, January 5 – FREE to Chamber Members, or $25 for non-members! Please contact Jeannette to register.

Non-profit Workshop on Grant Writing, January 9 – Free presentation on Community Grants.

First Impressions Visioning, January 10 – Find out what our community looks like to visitors.

Chamber Luncheon, January 10 – Scott Schultz of Morningstar Care Homes will be our luncheon presenter.
A NEW round of Coffee & Conversation starts January 26 – come for updates from the community development committee.

The Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet is February 22 – Save the date now!

So while you’re setting up your new calendar or planner, add in some time for your community and for building and improving your skills through our workshops.

We’d love to have you. Even if you haven’t decided on your New Year’s Resolutions yet. 😉
